I am Megan Craig. I am 35 years old, and I live in Oquawka, Illinois. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Virginia Beach.
Art and design have always been very intriguing to me. I knew I wanted to work with art ever since I won an award for a chalk drawing I made in kindergarten. I have always loved working with color, and enjoy using lots of curves. Color is very expressive. Outside of my art, I have a very hard time expressing myself. I love curves because they make everything feel softer and more energetic. I seem to enjoy working on more challenging projects. The challenge of learning something new or doing something somewhat difficult focuses me so well that I end up losing track of time — usually I don't want to leave the project alone for the day until I am completely finished with what I was working on.
I appreciate working more with the physical, rather than digital. I favor creating things a person can interact with physically to making things only to be seen on a computer screen. Working on physical projects also keeps me more focused, and I love the interaction that physical projects offer.
I bake as a hobby, and enjoy the challenge that comes with each new recipe. My co-workers and family have even told me that I'm pretty good at it!
